At Cape George Point, Ant. Co., on Jan. 27, after an illness of several months, and strengthened by the last rites of Holy Church, Alexander D. McDonald, aged 63 years. The deceased, a worthy son of good parents, was a man of very fine parts. He was kind, hospitable, and charitable, and well liked by his neighbors and acquaintance. Poor Alex D will always and ever be remembered in Cape George for his simplicity of life and profound faith. On Jan. 29th his remains were laid to rest in the church of the Holy Rosary cemetery, Ballentyne’s Cove, after a Mass of Requiem. Besides a sorrowing wife he leaves two daughters and three sons to mourn the loss of a good kind citizen and a splendid Christian.
