At Halifax, N.S. on the 29th day of Oct., of Spanish Influenza in the 28th year of her age, Mary McDonald, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Duncan J. McDonald of Cape George Point. Deceased always led an honest, kind and industrious life, which earned for her a happy death. The sympathy of the community goes out to her sorrowing parents, 4 brothers and 3 sisters. Only a few months ago deceased brother , Pte. Dan W., gave up his life in defense of the Empire, so their graves are widely severed. On the morning of the 31st, after requiem High Mass, her remains were tenderly laid to rest in Ballatnyne’s Cove Cemetery.
