McInnis- At Georgeville on Sunday, Jan 28th, strengthened and consoled by the last rites of Holy Church, Mary McInnis, at the advanced age of 83 years. She bore her long and severe sickness without a murmur during which she prepared herself for death by the devout and frequent reception of the Sacraments, by prayer and works of charity. The two beautiful statues in St. George’s Church – The Sacred Heart and the Immaculate Conception – standing on either side of the altar, together with the life size mission crucifix in the arch above the alter, are gifts to beautify God’s house in her native parish and for her many excellent qualities of heart and soul the memory of Marie Mor will be ever cherished by the people of the parish. After Requiem High Mass her remains were laid to rest in Georgeville cemetery.
