At Cape George Point, Ant, on June ?th, Angus McNeil (Donald’s son) aged 76 years from that terrible malady, cancer, and therefore the final summons did not come unexpectedly nor find him unprepared to meet His Maker. His simple piety and faith and the strict practice of his Holy religion throughout his life prepared him to support his last illness with great patience, to await death with perfect resignation to the Will of God, and to hope with firm confidence in a happy reward. Fortified by the last rites of Holy Church he died a happy death. Mr. McNeil was a staunch Catholic a good neighbor and a splendid ??? and his passing away has evoked much sorrow and sympathy. On June 16th, his remains were laid to rest beside his brother Donald at Ballentyne’s Cove Cemetery after a Mass of requiem by the pastor at Lakevale. He leaves to mourn their loss ??? sorrowing brothers and two sisters.
