EKALAKA – KATHERINE ARGO, 90, longtime resident of Sanders County, died Sunday in Ekalaka where she had resided with her daughter the past three years.  Funeral services will be held in the Hot Springs Presbyterian Church at 11 a.m. Saturday with interment in the Missoula Cemetery, Scrider Funeral Home is in charge.  Katherine Argo was born October 18, 1886 in Cape George, Nova Scotia and moved to Montana in 1896 with her parents.  She was married to Pearl B. Argo Sept. 2, 1915 in Missoula.  They resided in Plains for 17 years before homesteading on Camas Prairie where they resided until 1948 when they moved  Hot Springs until 1973 when she moved to Ekalaka.  She was a 50-year member of the Ideal Chapter of OES in Plains and a member of the Presbyterian Church in Hot Springs.  Survivors include the daughter, Mrs. Margaret Castleberry, Ekalaka; a sister, Miss Ida MacDonald, MIles City, and numerous nieces and nephews.  The family has suggested that memorials be to the Congregational Church in Ekalaka or the Prystertian  Church in Hot Springs.
