Funeral services were held on Monday in St. Columba Church, Lakevale, for Peter Richard Doyle, 60, of Antigonish Harbour. Mr. Doyle, who died in St. Martha’s Hospital on October 27, had been caretaker at Crystal Cliffs for the past 10 years. He was born in Roman Valley, a son of Martin and Annie (Carroll) Doyle. Surviving are his wife, the former Gertrude MacPherson of Livingstone’s Cove, a son and five daughters: John, at home; Anne Marie (Mrs. Gordon MacKenzie), Dartmouth; Eileen (Mrs. John MacNeil), Edmonton; Katherine (Mrs. Harold Langille), Toronto; Bernadette and Helen Lee both at home.
