County Native Died at 54 – The funeral for Mrs. Donald Sutherland, 54, was held at Kenzieville Presbyterian Church.  Burial was in Kenzieville cemetery.  The pallbearers were Bill Cavanagh, Jack Stewart, Allister MacDonald, Bill Stalker, Ben Dean, and John Campbell.  Mrs. Sutherland, born at Cape George Point, was the former Violet Adams, a daughter of the late John and Ella (Cameron) Adams.  She taught school for 25 years in Antigonish, Cumberland and Pictou counties.  Surviving besides her husband Donald, are a son, John, at home; three daughters, Anna Lee (Mrs. Robert Hamper), Evelyn (Mrs. Donald Bannerman), both of Kenzieville; Irene, at home; and two grandchildren.  Also surviving are five sisters; Mary, Merigomish; Isabell (Mrs. Merlin Toole) and Pearl (Mrs. Lloyd Phillips), Truro; Adelaide, Cambridge, Mass; Eileen, Antigonish; and two brothers, JOhn and Cameron both of Toronto.
