The death occurred at his home on June 12th, 1952, of Ronald Lewis MacEachern, at the advanced age of 91 years.  He was born at Cape George Point and lived there all his life, and earned his livelihood farming and fishing.  The deceased was quite active up until about two years ago.  Of a kind and gentle disposition he was well liked by his many friends and neighbors.  The deceased was a staunch Catholic, and during his illness was frequently consoled  by the Holy Sacraments.  He leaves to mourn their loss his sorrowing widow the former Elizabeth MacInnis, daughter of the late Mr and Mrs. Colin MacInnis, Georgeville, four daughters; (Elizabeth) Mrs. Rod MacLean, Ohio; (Anna) Mrs. James Beane, St. John, N.B.; (Margaret) Mrs. Eustace MacEachern, Ballantyne’s Cove, and (Hyacinth) Mrs. Benny Jenner, Regina, Sask, and sons Alexander, Cape George Point, Angus, Antigonish, Colin and Thomas at home; a sister (Millie) Mrs. Allan MacDonald, New Glasgow, and two brothers, George at Pinevale; and Lauchie, Sullivan, Indiana; also twenty-six grandchildren.  After Requiem High mass by Rev. Angus Bryden, P.P. on June 14th, his remains were tenderly laid to rest in the cemetery at the Holy Rosary, Ballantyne’s Cove.  Rev. A. Bryden also officiated at the graveside.
