George Lewis MacEachern died at his home in Pinevale on April 30, 1954 at the age of 88 years. He was born at Cape George Point in December of 1866, where he lived until 1919 when he moved to Pinevale. He is survived by one brother Laughlin who lives in Indiana, one son Lewis George of Pinevale and five daughters; Mabel (Mrs. Peter Blanchard of Boston); Irene (Mrs. John A. MacDonald) of Pinevale, Georgina (Mrs. James C. Morony? Of Boston), Christina (Mrs. Charles T. Mills of Cambridge). There are fourteen grand-children and one great-grandchild. After a High Mass of Requiem at St. At Andrew’s Church he was interred at St. Andrew’s Cemetery.
