Born in Antigonish, he was a son of the late Mark and Isabel (MacInnis) MacInnis. Blaise was a man of great faith and tremendous courage and was truly an inspiration to all who knew him. He enjoyed life to the fullest, despite his disability from birth and the many obstacles that he faced along the way. He liked company and always had a welcoming smile on his face for everyone. Surviving are sisters, Martha MacInnis, Antigonish, Hilma (Bert) Fougere, Linwood; brother, Hughie (Mary), Cape George Point, four nieces and three nephews. He also held a special place in his heart for his great niece, Isla May, of whom he was so proud. Blaise spent the last six and a half years at the R.K. MacDonald. The family would like to thank their staff for all the wonderful care they provided to our very special brother, friend and uncle.
