Word was received here Monday of the tragic death near New Westminster, B.C., of Alexander John MacDougall, 57, native of Georgeville, this county. Mr. Macdougall was drowned recently when kneeling on the river bank to take a drink of water. He lost his balance and fell in. He was buried at Mission city. Son of the late Mr and Mrs John MacDougall, he was born at Georgeville, Nov. 4, 1878. Surviving are two sisters, Miss Florence MacDougall, Antigonish; and Mrs. MacGillivray.
