The late William Thomas MacMillan, 77 of Lochaber, was buried Tuesday following funeral services in Chalmer’s United Church, Lochaber, with Rev. Raymond Kraglund officiating. Mr. MacMillan died October 4, in St. Martha’s Hospital. Pallbearers were Bill Cameron, Ron Sangster, Thomas Cameron, Donald MacKay, Lester Tait, and Clayton Kinney. Burial was in the church cemetery. Born in Livingstones Cove, he was a son of the late John and Mary Jane (Cameron) MacMIllan. He was a farmer for the past 50 years. Surviving are his wife, the former Florence Kinney; five daughters, Mary Jane and Irene (Mrs. Ron Best), both of Toronto; Sally (Mrs. Danny Baird, Truro; Harriet and Lillian, both at home; two sons, John Franklin, Halifax;; and William, Lochaber; a step-sister, Mrs. Jessie Rogers, Boston, Mass; three brothers, Alexander, Livingstones Cove; and Colin and Archie, both of Dearborn, Michigan; and eight grandchildren. He was predeceased by three brothers, George, John and Cameron.
