There died suddenly on June 2, 1947, in St. Rita’s Hospital, Sydney, Mrs. Angus J. MacEachern, in the 73 year of her age. She was the daughter of John MacIsaac and Marcella MacGillivray of Georgeville, Antigonish County. Fidelity in the practice of her religion and loyalty to friends were characteristics of the deceased. She was loved and respected by all who knew her. Besides her husband, Mrs. MacEachern is survived by an adopted son, Michael Livingstone; and two brothers, Hugh and Archie at Georgeville. Reverend John W. MacIsaac, a brother, died in 1926. The funeral, which was largely attended, took place Thursday, June 8 to St. Mary’s church, East Bay, when high Mass was celebrated by her pastor, Reverend Michael MacCormick with interment in St. Mary’s cemetery. Pall-bearers were Harry MacLean, Frederick Gillis, Stephen MacNeil, Michael MacNeil, Angus MacEachern and Andrew Livingston.
