At his home at Georgeville, Oct. 12, 1926, Joseph Hanrahan, age 85, after a long illness borne with Christian patience and resignation to the Divine Will. He died fortified by the last rites of the Catholic Church of which he was always a devout member. He is survived by his wife, one son, and one daughter – Mrs. J.J. Gillis, Roxbury, Mass – also one brother. His funeral took place Oct. 14, after requiem high mass by Rev. J.R. MacDonald P.P., who also officiated at the grave.
