There passed away to his eternal rest on Oct. 13 at his home at Malignant Cove, Antigonish Co., Angus D. MacGillivray (miller) after a lingering illness.  ?Born at Dummaglass, Pictou County on Nov. 9, 1865 he was the son of the late John MacGillivray and Annie MacDonald.  In his early youth Angus D. Mac – known as one of Nova Scotia’s top athletes.  After several years of employment in the U.S. he returned to Nova Scotia where he held the position as miller for the North Shore Milling Company, Malignant Cove, which he held for twenty-five years.  In 1914 he married Ameli MacDonald of Maryvale who is left to mourn his loss also four daughters and four sons: Maisie of Montreal; (Esther) Mrs. Angus R. MacPherson, Morar; Theresa Irene of New Glasgow, JOhn and Ronald of Montral, Leo and Joe at home, all of whom attended his funeral.  A sister Mrs. John R. MacDonald, New Glasgow, also survives.  A good and faithful Christian he died consoled by the last rites of the Catholic Church.  A large attended funeral was held at St. George’s Church Georgeville. Burial took place in the parish cemetery, service at the grave yard was conducted by Rev. R. MacPherson, P.P.
