Mrs. Angus Bouchard, 82, of Antigonish, died May 5 in the R.K. MacDonald Nursing Home. Born in James River, she was the former Christine Amelia Cameron, daughter of Samuel and Margaret (Sutherland) Cameron. She is survived by her husband; one daughter, Myrtle (Mrs. Norman Sellers), Halifax; one son, Earl, Cornwallis; five grandsons; one great-granddaughter; one sister, Jessie (Mrs. Alex MacMillan), Livingstone’s Cove; two brothers, Robert, Antigonish; and James, Toronto. She was predeceased by daughter Laverne, one sister, and three brothers. The funeral was held in the St. James United Church on May 7. Pallbearers were Robert Linkletter, Donald MacKay, Donald Sutherland, Harold Grant, Huntley MacDonald, and Anthony Druhan. Honorary pallbearers were W.H, Pushie, Robert MacDonald, Robert MacNaughton, Lloyd MacPHee, Wilfred Dewar and Wesley MacLean. Burial was in Glenbard cemetery, James River.
