Funeral services for the late Margaret Catherine Boyd, 73, of Morristown, were held last Saturday in St. Columba Church with Rev. Angus MacGillivray officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery. Mrs. Boyd died November 24 in St. Martha’s Hospital. Active pallbearers were Danny Boyd, Charles Boyd, Joseph Boyd, Hugh MacInnis, Albert Falkenham and Ross Boyd. Honorary pallbearers were John Wells, Joseph, Fred, Lloyd, John and Alvin Boyd. Born in Cape George, she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Mary (Gillis) MacInnis. She was a member of St. Columba Church, Lakevale, and the Canadian Women’s League. She is survived by her husband, John S.; two daughters, Myrtle (Mrs. Wilfred) MacDonald, James River; Mary Lou, Dartmouth; three sons, Daniel and John, both of Morristown; Lloyd, Hamilton, Ontario; one sister, Catherine (Mrs. Kimbal Falkenham, Ballantynes Cove; two brothers, Mark and John, both of Cape George; and 13 grandchildren. She was predeceased by an infant daughter, Catherine; three sisters, Mary, Hilda and Esther; and three brothers, Raymond, Alexander and William.
