At Morar, Antigonish County, on March 25, Loretta, daughter of Dan McPherson, after an illness of over a year in the 23rd year of her age. Deceased taught school for several terms in different parts of Antigonish and Cape Breton Counties. A bright, intelligent young lady, a painstaking teacher and a devoted Catholic, she will be missed by a wide circle of friends and pupils. Though her death has for the first time entered a large family of twelve, thus leaving besides her sorrowing parents five brothers and six sisters to mourn the loss of a devoted child and sister. Her remains were laid to rest in the parish cemetery in Georgeville, and were followed to the cemetery by a large number of relatives and friends.
