26 Apr 1914 – Mary C. MacEachern
At S.S. Cape George, on Sunday, April 26th, 1914, after a brief illness, which she bore with Christian patience, Mary C., beloved daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John D. McEachern, aged 14 years and 5 months. The sympathy of the community goes out to her sorrowing parents, five brothers and two sisters for her untimely death. But they are consoled in knowing that she now dwells in that “Better Land” beyond the tomb. Always noted for her goodness and sweet disposition, she will be greatly missed. Fortified by all the rites of Holy Mother Church, she calmly passed away. May her soul rest in peace!
