John (Jack) J. MacPherson, of Vancouver, British Columbia, and formerly of Ballantynes Cove, Antigonish County, died on December 2 in Vancouver. Mr. MacPherson died in his sleep of a heart attack. He had triple bypass heart surgery in 1984 but was able to remain moderately active up to the time of his death. He moved to Vancouver in 1957 and was employed in the city’s engineering department for 25 years. He is survived by his wife Mary and a son, Brian.

Moved to Vancouver, B.C. in 1957. Worked as a Vancouver Civic Worker for 25 years. Prayers will be said Sunday, December 6 at 7 p.m. in St. Judes Church, 3078 Renfrew Street, Vancouver where mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday, December 7 at 10 a.m., Rev. R. Gagnon celebrant. Interment Oceanview.
