A memorial service for the late W. Huntley M. Adams, 67, of Ottawa, Ontario, and formerly of Livingstone’s Cove, Antigonish County, was held on August 12 in St. David’s United Church, Cape George, with Rev. Ralph Webber officiating. The body has been cremated. Burial was in the church cemetery. Mr. Adams died on August 4 in Ottawa. Active pallbearers were Allen, Ted, Roddy, Brian, and Keith Adams and Gerald Ballantyne. Honorary pallbearers were Arthur Arbuckle, Bernie Cleary, Robbie Linkletter, John Hugh MacEachern, John V. MacEachern, Harold Ballantyne, Albie Falkenham and Gerard MacEachern. Born in Cape George, he was a son of the late Allan and Margaret (MacDougall) Adams. He was employed as a construction worker in Ontario for the past 25 years. He is survived by a brother, Alex, Cape George; and two sisters, Jeanetta (Mrs Everett) Fisher, Ontario; and Margaret (Mrs. Neil) Matheson, Boston. He was predeceased by a brother, James.
