Of Cambridge Mass., and Cape George Antigonish Co. Adelaide was a long-term resident of Cambridge Mass. She passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 22, 2020 in Massachusetts. Cremation has taken place. Adelaide was employed by Gillette where she worked in a supervisory position until retirement. She is survived by her sister, Eileen Adams of Antigonish; and numerous nieces and nephews. She loved going to dances and listening to her Scottish music. After retirement she spent many hours walking and enjoying the company of her friends at the local coffee shop. Adelaide loved children and was very kind and loving to her family and friends. She made friends easily and those who met her loved her. She will be deeply missed by all that knew her. Special thank you to Dr. Berchel and staff at Cadbury Commons, in particular her caregiver and friend Marie. A funeral service for Adelaide will be held at a later date in Antigonish.
