Mrs. L.J. MacEachern, Antigonish, received a wire Tuesday announcing the death at Jamaica Plain, Mass., of her brother John Beaton. Deceased was about 68 years old, and died suddenly at his home just after returning from a shopping trip. Mr and Mrs Beaton removed to Massachusetts from the old homestead at Morar about a year ago, to be near their sons and daughters. The funeral will take place at Jamaica Plain.
