1967 Sarah Linda Bond
The sudden death of Sarah Linda Bond, Cape George, occurred recently when she was a victim of a tragic car accident at Sylvan Valley. Daughter of Austin and Mary (Gavin) Bond, she was born at Cape George 17 years ago and lived there all her life. Surviving to mourn the loss of a loving daughter and sister are her parents, and four sisters and five brothers; Anne (Mrs. John MacEachern), Cape George; Jean (Mrs. Edgar Roach), Halifax; Margaret, Molly, Edgar, Brian, Gavin, Kevin and Dale all at home. She is also survived by her grandmother, Mrs. Sarah Gavin of Toronto. The funeral Requiem Mass was celebrated in St. Columba Church, Lakevale. Burial was in Lakevale cemetery. Pallbearers were: John V. MacEachern, Jackie MacEachern, Ernest Walsh, Edgar Betts?; John Gavin and Joseph Gavin.
