NEW GLASGOW – Bray, Sarah “Sadie”, 89 of Munroe Ave. Extension, New Glasgow, passed away on Sunday, May 17th, 2009, in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Cape George, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Agnes (MacDonald) MacDonald. Sadie was a resident of Munroe Ave. Ext. for the past 60 years. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church. Sadie is survived by her children; Catherine Smith, ON; Virginia (Bill) Whynott, New Glasgow; Frank (Mary) Bray, New Glasgow; Lorraine MacEachern, Trenton; grandchildren; John, Kim, Connie, Mark, Sean, Erin, Trevor and Nicole; nine great grandchildren. She was also survived by a sister Catherine, New Glasgow; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Frank, sister, Christina. Pallbearers were grandsons, Trevor Whynott, Mark MacEachern, Sean Bray, Great-grandson, Daniel Weyman, son-in-law, William Whynott, and nephew, Elmer MacLaughlin. Burial in the Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church Parish Cemetery.
