James Angus Brown, Lismore, Pictou County, was buried January 31 following funeral services from St. George’s Church, Georgeville, with Rev. William DeCourcey officiating. Mr. Brown died January 28 at St. Martha’s Hospital. Pallbearers were his nephews Alex, Gerard, Carrot, Ed, Andy and Bobby Brown. Born in Livingstone Cove, he was a son of the late Angus and Mary (MacDougall) Brown. Surviving are two brothers: Gillis and Gus, Antigonish; and two sisters: Catherine (Mrs. A.L. Gillis) and Margaret, both of Framingham, Massachusetts. He was predeceased by three brothers, John D., Joseph and Angus.
