Robert A. Cameron, 77, died at his home in Greenwold on April 16. The funeral service was conducted in St. James United Church and burial was in Glenbard cemetery at James River. The pallbearers were grandsons John, Ronald, and Tom MacIsaac; sons-in-law Warren Pearce and Leroy Cole; and Arthur Feltmate. Mr. Cameron, a native of James River, was a veteran of World War II and a member of Aaras Branch Royal Canadian Legion. Surviving are his wife, the former Katie Kelly of Cadillac, Michigan; three daughters, Bethel MacIsaac, Antigonish; Ethel (Mrs. Leroy Cole), New Jersey; Mary (Mrs. Warren Pearce), Dexter, Michigan; son Thomas, North Sydney; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Also surviving are sister Jessie (Mrs. Alex MacMillan), Livingstones Cove, and brother James, Toronto. He was a son of Sanuel and Margaret (Sutherland) Cameron.
