FRASER’S MOUNTAIN – Mr. John Thomas Campbell, 79, Campbell’s Road, Fraser’s Mountain, Pictou Co., formerly of James River and Laggan, died Wednesday, December 31, 1997 at home. Born in Cape George, Antigonish Co., he was a son of the late Colin and Lillian (Partridge) Campbell. He was a retired employee of the former Hawker Siddeley Ltd., Treton and was a member of Barney’s River Presbyterian Church, Kenzieville. Surviving are his wife, the former Marion Fraser; daughter, Marg (Mrs. Jeff Avent), Orangeville, Ont.; Simon (Elaine), Plymouth; Doug, at home; and Paul, Brampton, Ont.; a sister, Margaret Copeland, Bracebridge, Ont.; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Daniel; a sister, Katherine; and brother Hugh in infancy. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday with REv. Dr. J. Kenneth MacLeod officiating. Burial will be in Kenzieville Cemetery.
