There were only certain years that the government gathered census information. The information is informative, yet a bit unreliable. The data captured has to be taken with a grain of salt. There are errors, spelling mistakes and other abnormalities. But it is still a valuable source of information. The last census published by the Canadian Government was the 1921 census. All census information held after 1921 is not available to the public yet.
