Feb 1978 – Catherine Chabot (MacInnis)
Catherine Chabot, 75, died in Lynn Hospital, after a brief illness. A native of Cape George Point, she was the daughter of John and Anastasia (MacDonald) MacInnis and had made her home in Lynn for more than 50 years. She was the widow of Edward Chabot. Surviving are two daughters, Janet (Mrs. James Kerby), Baltimore; Joan (Mrs. Paul Hassett), Marshfield, Mass.; two sons, John, New Hampshire; Donald, Sharon, Mass.; six sisters, Janet Sacco, St. Petersburg, Florida; Christine Chabot, Lynn, Mass.; Linda Poole, Lakevale; Louise MacPhee, Ballantyne’s Cove; Florence Mason, Merigomish; Hanna MacInnis, Cape George Point; four brothers Hugh J., Donald J., Cape George Point; Albert, Lakevale; Gusty, Antigonish; nine grandchildren. The funeral mass was celebrated at St. Joseph’s Church with burial in the parish cemetery. Two sisters, Margaret and Gertie are dead.
