The sudden death of Angus D. Chisholm on Jan 12 shocked the community of Malignant Cove of which he was a well known citizen. The late Mr. Chisholm was born at Malignant Cove, son of the late Donald M Chisholm and Ann (MacGillivray) Chisholm. He spent several years in the Western U.S. and later returned to the old homestead where he engaged in farming until his death. He is survived by one sister, Mary and one brother, William both at home. A brother Alexander of Silver City Nevada predeceased him by one week. Requiem Mass was celebrated in St. George’s Church, Georgeville, by Rev. Leonard MacLean who also conducted services at the graveside. Pass bearers were: Hugh MacGillivray, Dougal MacDonald, Arthur Arbuckle, Andrew MacDonald, Joseph MacGillivray and Gorman Chisholm
