Apr 1935 Catherine Chisholm (MacIsaac)
At Georgeville, at the home other son, Dan Chisholm, Mrs. Catherine Chisholm, in her 79th year. She was the daughter of Donald MacIsaac, and Mary Kennedy Glebe Road, formerly of Morristown, and widow of the late John A. Chisholm who died thirty-nine years ago, leaving her with nine young children, the youngest an infant of six months. Of these, three sons and three daughters survive: Dan and Ambrose, Georgeville; Joseph in Maine; Mrs. H.R. MacDonald (Mary), Malignant Cove; Mrs. E.C. Stanton (Margaret), Portland, Ore.; and Elizabeth Chisholm, Brookline, Mass. Three sons predeceased her: Archibald, Butte, Montana; John, who was killed in the World War; and Angus who died in Boston. Deceased was the last surviving member of a family of nine, and she will be long mourned by a host of relatives and friends who will remember her for her kind, charitable and cheerful disposition. All during her long and useful life, she was a faithful and loving member of Holy Mother Church, and she died as she lived, after frequent reception of the sacraments, in peace with God. Her remains were tenderly laid to rest in St. George’s cemetery, Georgeville, after requiem high Mass celebrated by Fr. Blaise Campbell, who also officiated at the grave-side
