20 Jun 1946  Dan Chisholm

There died in Georgeville, Jun 16, 1946, Dan Chisholm, After a lingering illness.  Consoled frequently by the sacraments of the Holy Church of which he was always a faithful member, he passed on, to reap the reward promised to those who lead a good life.  He is much missed by his immediate family – three sisters and two brothers:  Mrs. H.R. MacDonald (Mary), with whom he lived and who cared for him tenderly and lovingly; Mrs. E.C. Stanton (Margaret), Portland, Ore.; and Elizaeth of Boston, who arrived home in time to be with him at the end; also Ambrose at Georgeville, and Joseph in Boston; and by a host of friends who enjoyed his unfailing fund of wit and humor.  On the morning of June 19 after requiem Mass, read by REv. R.W. MacPherson, P.P. who also officiated at the graveside, he was laid to rest in the family lost in St. George’s cemetery.
