Donald A. Chisholm of 2800 East Sunrise Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale, passed away suddenly January 2nd at his northern home 129 Hawthorne Street, Antigonish, Nova Scotia. He planned to return to his Florida home Tuesday where he spent the past 18 winters. A prominent Business man and noted contractor for many years in Eastern Canada. He was president of the parent company Nova Construction Company Ltd. as well as Arrow Construction Company, Ltd. , Concrete Services, Ltd., Keltic Construction Company all of which did heavy construction and paving projects in the Maritimes. He was also president of Antigonish Shopping Mall, Ltd., and Claymore MOtel, Ltd. He is survived by his wife Margaret; two sons John W. and Owen; four daughters Marilyn Dee, Helen Landry, Maria Grant and Claire all of Antigonish as well as six grandchildren; two sisters and four brothers, also survive. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, January 5th at 11 a.m. at St. Ninian’s Cathedral with Concelebrated Mass. He attended St. Pius X Catholic Church in Fort Lauderdale. A member of several service clubs. He was also president elect of the Nova Scotia Road Builders Associations at the time of his death.
