Funeral Mass was celebrated in St. George’s Church, Georgeville, for John Hugh Chisholm, 42, son of Mr and Mrs Ambrose Chisholm, Georgeville. He lived at home most of his life and was a self-employed fisherman. Besides his parents, he leaves three brothers, Ambrose B., Georgeville; Archie J., Bailey’s Brook; and Mitchell C., at home; also four sisters: Coleen (Mrs. Peter Gregory), Port Alberni, B.C.; Mary (Mrs D. J. MacLean), Winnipeg; Elizabeth (Mrs. Don Anderson), Ocean Falls, B.C.; and Donna (Mrs. J.P. MacLean), Antigonish. Three nephews, Rod Chisholm, Ford Chisholm and Ian MacLean acted as pallbearers. The other pallbearers were Leo MacInnis, Allan MacIsaac, and Mark MacInnis. Burial was in the parish cemetery.
