Thomas Joseph Chisholm, 63, of Meadow Green, a retired farmer and school bus driver, died in St. Martha’s Hospital on April 28.  The funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Andrew’s Church, St. Andrews on Saturday and burial was in the parish cemetery.  The honorary pallbearers were Don Kennedy, Joe MacDonald, John Grant, Dan Sheehan, John Van der Wiel, and Jerome Chisholm.  The active pallbearers were son -in-law Archie Boyd and seven sons; Gerald, Hugh James, Kevin, Rod, Duncan, Tom and Harold.  Besides his seven sons, Mr. Chisholm is survived by his wife, the former Mary Gertrude MacPherson of St. Andrews; three daughters, Maureen (Mrs. Archie Boyd), Frasers Mills; Kathleen, Antigonish; and Mary Eileen, at home;. And nine grandchildren.  Two daughters and a son are dead.  Also surviving from the family of R.J. Chisholm of Marydale, a former warden of the county, and Mary Elizabeth MacDonald of Glen Roy are Joseph, Montreal; and Marie Brown and Christine MacPherson, both of Livingstone’s Cove, Jessie and Duncan are dead.
