Funeral services were held Tuesday for the late William D. Chisholm, 91, of the R.K, MacDonald nursing home, in St. George’s Church, Georgeville, with Rev. Angus MacGillivray officiating. Mr. Chisholm died May 17 at home. Pallbearers were Leo MacDougall, Arthur Arbuckle, Bernie Chisholm, Sandy MacAdam, David Lowe, and John Angus Chisholm. Burial was in St. Georges Cemetery. Born in Malignant Cove, he was a son of the late Donald Malcolm and Annie (MacGillivray) Chisholm. He was a retired farmer and the last surviving member of his immediate family. He was predeceased by a sister, Mary Anne, and two brothers, Angus and Alex.
