Mrs. Ella Lee Adams, 76, widow of John Adams of Cape George, died April 10 at St. Martha’s Hospital. She was born at James River, daughter of Samuel and Margaret Ann (Sutherland) Cameron. She is survived by two sons, John and Cameron, both of Toronto; eix daughters, Mary, of Merigomish; Isabel (Mrs. Merlon Poole), Truro, Violet (Mrs. Donald Sutherland), Kenzieville; Pearl (Mrs. Lloyd Phillips), Truro, Adelaide, Cambridge, Mass.; and Eileen, Antigonish; 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She is also survived by two sisters, Tena (Mrs. Angus Bouchard), James River, and Jessie, (Mrs. Alex MacMillan), Livingstone’s Cove; and three brothers, Wilfred, Weymouth, Mass.; Robert, James River and James of Toronto. A brother Huntley predeceased her three years ago. The funeral service was conducted at St. James United Church, Sunday afternoon by the Rev. Flemming Holm. Burial was in St. David’s United Church cemetery, Cape George. Active pallbearers were Elmer Pushie, Robert Linkletter, Hugh MacGillivray, Hugh J. MacInnis, Joe MacDonald, and Allan Adams. Honorary pallbearers were Malcolm MacEachern, Ronald MacEacher, Alex MacMillan, Angus Bouchard, Michael Novak, and Frank MacNeil.
