13 May 1902 – Daniel Gillis
At Glen Road, on the 14th inst., of hemorrhage of the brain, Daniel Gillis, in the 36th year of his age. Deceased was a native of Cape George. He was highly esteemed for his many noble qualities and true Christian spirit. Although the summons came suddenly, it did not find him unprepared, he had performed his Easter duties a short time before. He leaves behind him a wife and three children who have the heartfelt sympathy of the community in their sad bereavement. May his soul rest in peace.
