At New Glasgow, on June 13th, 1904, after a long and painful illness, borne with Christian patience and resignation, Margaret, beloved wife of James Gillis, formerly of Georgeville, at the age of 55. Fortified by a devout reception of the rites of the Church, she calmly passed away. She leaves behind besides a sorrowing husband, three sons and one daughter to mourn her loss. After a Requiem High Mass, celebrated by Rev. John McLeod, P.P. her remains were interred in New Glasgow cemetery.
