GILLIS – In Boston, Feb. 12, Mary E. (nee Hanrahan), widow of John J. Gillis, formerly of 3 Tupelo st., Roxbury, and mother of Sister Catherine Josephine of Emmanuel College, Mrs. J. Victor Mahan of Swampscott and Mrs. Louis J. McMurrer of Newtonville. Funeral from the Crosby Memorial, 867 Beacon st. (Take Beacon-st. Subway to St. Mary’s st. exit) on Wednesday morning followed by a Requiem Mass in St. Aiden’s Church, Freeman and Pleasant sts., Brookline at 10 o’clock. Relatives and friends invited. Interment New Calvary.
