At Malignant Cove, on the 22nd February, Catherine, relic of the late Donald Grant, aged 83 years. Of her family of two sons and seven daughters, all but one were present to console her in her last illness. A truly devout woman all her lifetime, her death after a fervent reception of the last sacraments gave every assurance of being merely a translation of her soul from earth to heaven. Her remains, after a Requiem Mass, were laid, on the 25th beside those of her consort, in the parish cemetery at Arisaig to await a glorious resurrection.
