Mary Catherine Heffernan, 58, died at St. Martha’s Hospital, after a long illness. She was the daughter of Mr and Mrs John J. Heffernan of Georgeville. Requiem Mass was celebrated in St. George’s Church and burial was in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers were Alex MacLean, Leo MacInnis, John Hugh MacEachern, John Gillis, Roddie MacDonald, and Jim MacGillivray. She is survived by four brothers and
two sisters: James, Guelph, Ontario, Bernard, John, Joseph and Margaret, all at home; Anne (Mrs. Charles Lanagan), West Roxbury, Mass; and several nieces and nephews. Two brothers, Leo and Harry, are dead.
