Funeral services for the late Mary Ellen Huntley, 65, of the R.K, MacDonald Nursing Home and Guest House, and formerly of Big Marsh, Antigonish County, were held today (Wednesday) at St. George’s Church, Georgeville, with Rev. Angus MacDougall officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. She died April 21 at the nursing home. Pallbearers were George Green, Leo Pellerine, Brian Pellerine, Vincent Huntley, Tommy Huntley and Wayne Huntley. Born in Grosvenor, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Ellen (Talbot) Huntley. She is survived by one foster daughter, Diane Pellerine, Merland; two sons, James, Harrietsville; and Michael, Hubbards; three brothers, Henry, Fox Island; Thomas, Big Marsh; and John, Quebec; one sister, Catherine (Mrs. Albert) Green, Linwood; 13 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by one brother.
