CHOCORUA, N.H. – Katherine M. Johnson, 84, died Thursday in Concord after a brief illness. She was born in Cape George, Nova Scotia and was a 1920 graduate of Radcliffe College. Mrs. Johnson taught history at Chelsea (Mass.) High School for several years. She and her late husband, Theodore Johnson, were active in many Chocorua community affairs. She is survived by a step-daughter, Bernice Johnson of North Haverhill, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be tomorrow afternoon at 2 at the Chocorua Church. The Reverend W. Wallace Downs and David Snyder will officiate. Friends may call at the church tomorrow morning from 10 to noon. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Chocorua Church, in care of Mrs. Pearl Tupper, Chocorua, N.H. 03817. The White Funeral Home of Conway is in charge of arrangements.
