Alexander MacIntosh Kell, 82, died April 25 at St. Martha’s Hospital, after a long illness. A native of William’s Point, he was a long time member of the Holy Name Society. He is survived by his wife, the former Mary Josephine MacDonald of Ballantyne’s Cove, and was the last surviving member of the family of Neil and Ann (MacDonald) Kell of South River Road. He is survived also by a number of nieces and nephews. Requiem Mass was celebrated on Saturday, at St. Ninian’s Cathedral with burial in the parish cemetery.
