Margaret Mary Linkletter, 84, formerly of Livingstone’s Cove, passed away Saturday, March 20, 2021 in St. Martha’s Regional Hospital. Born in Livingstone’s Cove, she was a daughter of the late Alex and Jessie (Cameron) MacMillan. Margie was a devoted mother and wife and a longtime resident of Livingstone’s Cove. She was a very active member of the community before moving to Greenwold Manor in recent years. She was a member of St. James
United Church, Antigonish and St David’s United Church, Cape George. She enjoyed playing cards with family and friends, gardening and baking, with biscuits, rolls and bread being
her family’s favourite treats! Her pride and joy were her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Surviving are children Bob (Debbie) and Kathy, Antigonish, Debbie (Jack Glenn) and Leanne DeGruchy (Dennis), Malignant Cove and Sandy (Viola), South Side Harbour,
grandchildren Crystal (Evan Jordan), Nathan (Ashley Isenor) and Logan, great-grandchildren John, Catherine, Emily, Charley, and Ric, sisters-in-law Nellie MacLellan,
Marguerite Chisholm, Shirley Chisholm, Mary Burton, and brother-in- law Billy Linkletter.
Margie was predeceased by her husband Robbie, son-in-law Jim Snow, brother-in-law Leslie Linkletter and sisters-in-law Sadie MacNeil and Marie Kwik. Visitation 2-4 and 6-8 pm Wednesday, March 24, 2021 in MacIsaac Funeral Home, 61 Pleasant St., Antigonish. COVID-19 protocols will be in place. Funeral will be held in St. David’s United Church, Cape George at a later date.
