There died at S.S. Cape George, January 21, 1943 John M. Livingstone, aged 70 years, after a short illness, consoled by the last rites of the Catholic Church of which he was always a devoted member. He leaves to mourn their loss his sorrowing wife (need Mary MacDonald)., and two adopted children; Albert, on the old homestead, and Edith at Sellers Department store, Halifax; one sister and one brother; Mrs. Laura Malone and David Livingstone. The funeral was held Jan 24 at Lakevale. Rev. A.J. MacAdam officiated at the grave. The pallbearers were John Malone, Myles Boyd, Wm. Delaney, Simon MacNeil, Gus MacNeil and W. B. Delaney.
