Funeral services for the late Christina MacDonald, 75, of St. Ninian Street was held Monday in St. George’s Church, Georgeville, with Rev. Hugh A. MacDonald officiating. Mrs. MacDonald died on April 5 in Park Haven Estates, Halifax. Pallbearers were Hugh Chisholm, Ambrose Chisholm, Bernard Chisholm, John M. MacPhee, Cyril MacGillivray and John Angus Chisholm. Burial was in the parish cemetery. A native of Georgeville, she was a daughter of the late Ronald and Mary Ann (MacInnis) MacInnis. She is survived by five sons; John Dougals, Antigonish; Donald, Joseph, William and Francis; and two daughters; Sadie (Mrs. Paul Mortesen), Lewiston, Maine; and Mary Elizabeth (Mrs. Robert Stewart), Quebec. She was predeceased by her husband Michael Dan, three sisters and one brother.
