Duncan D. MacDonald. The death occurred in the Aberdeen Hospital on June 3 of Duncan D. MacDonald. He was born in Georgeville, Antigonish Co., in 1874, a son of Donald and Catherine MacDonald. He was a resident of New Glasgow for over 70 years. The last four years he made his home in Stellarton with his son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Duncan MacDonald. He was married to Catherine Chisholm who predeceased him in June 1942. He is survived by two sons, Daniel in Trenton, Duncan in Stellarton; and two daughters, Margaret (Mrs. Patrick Druhan), Stellarton, Catherine, (Mrs. John MacLean) in Halifax, and several grandchildren. The funeral was held from St. John the Baptist Church with Mass celebrated by Rev. Father Gillis. Interment was in St. John the Baptist Cemetery. The pallbearers were John Druhan, Michael MacDonald, Donald Druhan, John Eaton, Tom MacPhee and William Connors.
